My professional employment spans 40 years of clinical experience and includes counseling individuals, couples, families and groups in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, day hospital and emergency mental health settings.
Education
I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 and a Master of Clinical Social Work degree in 1976 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. My training included an internship at the University Mental Health Clinic, serving a college population, at the Farmingville Mental Health Clinic, serving a broad based community population, and at the Central Islip Psychiatric Hospital, serving a chronic population. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
